Bhutta College of education is run by Keharnam Memorial Educational Society (Regd.) and is a co-educational college offering B.Ed 2 year course with a total intake of 100 students. The teaching staff comprising of a regular Principal and 16 fully qualified Assistant Professors. The college is accredited by NAAC with Grade “A” “CGPA 3.50” . The college library is fully digitalised with an adequate number of national journals and magazines, and a book bank facility for needy students. The college has a well equipped ICT room with more than 30 computers, smart boards and projectors and serves as a digital knowledge hub overall development of the teacher trainees.
Teacher trainees of the college show outstanding results in Panjab University examinations and participate in various inter college as well as Panjab University Youth Festival and Skill-in Teaching competitions and have won laurels for the college.
The college has ample scope for professional development of the faculty and provides opportunities to participate in International, National conferences, Seminars and Workshops held in various parts of the country and in various academic, professional and cultural events organised by the college.
Besides this, regular Teaching Practice, Educational Tours and Trips, Tree Plantation, Nukkad Natak and Rallies are organised by the college in nearby villages, Various Club activities and House Competitions facilitate harmonious development of the teacher trainees.
